The Doubleheader

The more obsessed--er, focused--viewers of The West Wing and Sports Night might have noticed some eerie similarities between the two shows:  Characters you'd swear you'd seen before, lines of dialogue that sound awfully familiar--that sort of thing.  Are you crazy?  Or is Aaron Sorkin an avid environmentalist who's taken the "reduce/reuse/recycle" mantra one step too far?  Well, we've rewatched the episodes far too many times in order to bring you our version of a doubleheader.  You be the judge.

The Name Game ~ Dana, Donna, Dan, Danny...
Recycled Dialogue~ "A colossal waste of time"
SituationalSimilarities ~ Staffers playing poker and other familiar scenes.
Familiar Faces~ Actors who've graced both Sorkin projects.

Did I miss an important similarity or recycled line of dialogue?
Have I turned a corner somewhere?  Let me know.
