Men died for us. We had a responsibility to live our lives with integrity and honesty to honor their sacrifice.
President Bartlet oversees a secret military operation to rescue five downed Americans
in North Korea. The situation reminds Leo of his time in the Korean War, and he's
devastated to learn that the man who dragged him through the jungle for three days has,
as a corporate CEO, violated ethics rules to get a government contract. Meanwhile, CJ
grows tired of cable news pundit Taylor Reid's chicken jokes and takes a spot on his show,
skewering him on healthcare. Josh plays politics when he tries to torpedo a conservative
Republican's tax proposal, only to be shown up in the Oval Office by his intern, Ryan.

Child Tax Credit Leaves Many Female Parents Behind
Dialogue Excerpts:
Carol: Toby and Josh are in your office.
CJ: What do they want?
Carol: To make fun of you, I think.
CJ: And you let them in?
Carol: And made them coffee.
Josh: Congressman Wendt, who single-handedly blocked our tax credit to expand child care to working families, is attempting to bind the feet of your entire gender with his paleo-chauvinist staty-at-home mom tax cut.
CJ: I'm going to read the bill and supporting materials.
Josh: What if you just kick up a cloud of dust about the revenue impact and mention that he's the Darth Vader of child care?
Leo: Men died for us. We had a responsibility to live our lives with integrity and honesty to honor their sacrifice.
Bartlet: The corruption of the best is the worst. You've done more, much more, all on your own to honor their memory, Leo. They'd be as proud to know you as I am.
