Of course I wrote a concession speech. What, do you want to tempt the wrath of
the whatever from high atop the thing?
It's election day, and the President is going to win handily. The pundits give credit to the President's stellar performance during his one and only debate with Republican challenger Robert Ritchie. The staff is jubilant -- except Sam, whose promise to a grieving widow may come back to haunt him if Aristotle has his way. Donna, who accidentally misvoted on her absentee ballot, stakes out a polling place to convince a Republican to swap votes with her.

Dialogue Excerpts:
Sam: He wrote a concession speech.
Josh: Of course he wrote a concession speech. Why wouldn't he? What possible reason is there for not writing a concession speech?
Sam: The wrath from high atop the thing.
Toby: He up and said we were gonna...
Josh: No! You gotta go outside, turn around three times and curse!
Toby: Spit.
Josh: Spit and curse.
Toby: Do everything. Go.
CJ: Good evening, Mr. President.
Bartlet: I feel like I should be self-deprecating. I mean, it's not the inauguration, I can be funny, right? I don't think so. I think it's the wrong tone. If I'm thanking campaign staff maybe. What are you doing?
CJ: We've got some news.
Bartlet: What? What?
Leo: You're gonna win New Hampshire.
Abbey: It's all right. There are going to be more days like this. It starts now. It's going to be harder this time.
Jed: Yeah, I know. We can still have tonight, though, right?
Abbey: You've got lots of nights. Smart people who love you are going to have your back.
