To Charlie's relief, the President refuses to shake hands with the man who met the President just before the great stock market crash in 1929. Toby, Josh, and Donna are still trying to make their way back to Washington. Meanwhile, a pipe bomb explodes inside at a swimming meet, killing several civilians, and CJ listens to live updates to summarize for the press corps. Stopped at a hotel to dry off after being caught in a rain storm, Toby and Josh get a reality check from Donna, then end up meeting an ordinary citizen with some interesting things to say.
