The President and his staff are on a campaign stop in Indiana when Toby, Josh, and Donna miss the motorcade. They spend hours playing catchup, bumming rides in trucks and jeeps and trains in a futile attempt to get to Air Force One before it leaves them behind. Sam ends up filling in for Josh in the Oval Office, giving him a new respect for both the President and Josh, while Abbey accidentally creates a political firestorm by calling herself "just a wife and mother." The Qumaris start to make noises about their missing Defense Minister, and the Dow Jones Industrials keep dropping.
