See, I think these are good people, by and large, but they've come under the thumb of a dictatorial ruler. So, as with a small, Central American country, my role is to incite the people to topple her.
The President's metaphorical slam on his Republican opponent is picked up by the media when his private comment is caught on still-live B-roll. Despite CJ's best efforts at damage control, she eventually must admit to her pressroom that, yes, the President was calling his opponent stupid. Elsewhere, Toby handles the U.S. poet laureate, who has some political disagreements with the administration over a treaty banning land mines. Sam calls Ainsley back from vacation for a raise and to help spin Bartlet's gaffe, while Josh, despite Donna's and CJ's admonishments, grows obsessed with LemonLyman.com, a fansite that turns on him.
