When I sleep, I dream about a great discussion with experts and ideas and diction and energy and honesty. And when I wake up, I think, 'I can sell that.'
President Bartlet boldly throws his cap over the wall and announces that he's naming campaign finance reformers to the Federal Election Commission. Josh wears his regular Tuesday suit when Toby brings in Al Kiefer -- and Joey Lucas -- to consult about the political retribution that's sure to result. Meanwhile, Leo and Josh set Toby up on a date with his ex-wife, Congresswoman Andy Wyatt, to discuss drug treatment versus drug enforcement. Uncomfortably, Leo calls in staffers for Congresspersons who've improperly influenced law enforcement when their relatives were caught with drugs to let them know the President expects Congress to debate the issue fairly.

Dialogue Excerpts:
Toby: That's good. Good. Okay. Sam?
Sam: Yeah?
Toby: You're gonna come to a verb soon, right?
Sam: Okay, you know what this is called?
Toby: Bad writing?
Sam: Imagery.
Toby: Well, you say potato.
Josh: We want you to go to a meeting.
Toby: With who?
Josh: A prominent House Democrat who has a voice on campaign finance reform, and if it was someone on the Ethics Committee, that'd be even better, 'cause then she could answer some of Leo's questions.
Toby: I used to be married to someone who fits that description.
Leo: I set up a meeting for the two of you.
Toby: You set me up on a date with my ex-wife?
Leo: Yeah.
